ROLE OVERVIEW

The Quality Performance Lead is a key position within NEOM’s Quality and Excellence Department, responsible for developing and implementing systems to measure and enhance overall quality performance across projects. This role involves establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing quality data to provide actionable insights, and ensuring compliance with international quality standards like ISO 9001.

The Quality Performance Lead will facilitate collaboration among internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality-related issues. Reporting to the Executive Director of Quality and Excellence, this position is vital for fostering a culture of excellence and aligning quality initiatives with NEOM’s strategic objectives.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

Quality Performance Management

  • Implement a framework to measure and monitor the overall quality performance of NEOM’s projects and initiatives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate quality outcomes, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Analyze quality performance data and generate detailed reports for leadership, highlighting gaps and actionable insights.
  • Arrange regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to international quality standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and consultants to drive improvements in quality processes and align them with strategic goals.
  • Support the development of training and best practice initiatives to build a strong quality culture across NEOM.

Quality Interface Management

  • Establish and maintain effective processes for managing physical and operational interfaces across projects and departments.
  • Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of interface challenges and alignment with NEOM’s interface management plan.
  • Facilitate the development and review of interface agreements, ensuring compliance with NEOM’s quality standards.
  • Monitor the quality and completeness of interface data registers, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Organize and participate in interface coordination meetings to promote collaboration and address potential issues.
  • Proactively manage contractual issues and potential change orders related to interface management, ensuring swift resolution in collaboration with stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of quality and interface management processes, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Identify areas for innovation and adopt emerging technologies to improve quality performance and interface coordination.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by promoting cross-functional collaboration and sharing best practices.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Management, Contracts Administration, or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of international quality standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Good understanding of project technical requirements.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic; self-motivated with excellent work organization skills.
  • Previous experience in some or all of the following project areas: project management, business/project controls.
  • Previous experience in interface management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a relevant discipline is desirable.
