ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Process Senior Specialist, you will assist Investigations in conducting investigations, data analysis, and assessments, support the Investigations Managers and team in delivering the OCI Investigation strategy, help ensure adequate coverage and reporting on investigations, and be an ambassador of the NEOM Office of Corporate Investigation.

REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Legal or equivalent is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in Legal, Compliance, or Investigations are considered an asset.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in legal, compliance, or investigative roles.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting investigations or legal assessments in a fast-paced environment, with verifiable references.
  • Solid understanding of risk management, internal controls, and compliance principles.
  • Ability to assist with legal investigations, review business processes, and support documentation and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with fraud investigation concepts and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to support investigations and reporting

 

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Process Senior Specialist responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Support:

  • Assist the legal team in day-to-day legal operations and documentation.
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, contracts, and correspondence as required.
  • Maintain legal files, records, and ensure proper documentation for compliance purposes.

Investigations and Compliance:

  • Support investigations related to fraud, misconduct, regulatory compliance, or internal policy breaches.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize evidence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect necessary information for investigations.

 

Risk and Process Assessment:

  • Assist in evaluating business processes for legal and compliance risks.
  • Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare reports on investigations, findings, and legal assessments for management and legal team review.
  • Track and report on key legal metrics and ongoing cases.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet internal and external compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure legal guidance is effectively communicated.
  • Provide on-site support during audits, inspections, or regulatory reviews.
  • Support external counsel, as needed, in preparation and follow-up of legal matters.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Assist in updating policies, procedures, and templates to align with legal and regulatory standards.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area
  • Strong understanding of legal concepts, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of fraud investigation principles, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Familiarity with corporate policies, procedures, and business processes relevant to legal oversight.
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to draft, review, and maintain legal documents accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external parties.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information.
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis and reporting techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting investigations, audits, or regulatory reviews.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments requiring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • References available for prior investigative or legal support work.
  • Ability to support investigations and assessments of business processes
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
  • High standards of integrity and independence while performing tasks consistently and ethically.
