ROLE OVERVIEW

The Investments Manager will support the Senior Manager in leading the mandated streams of investment/partnerships into NEOM, including, but not limited to, develop a customized business case, work with external financial advisors, and prepare the relevant presentations and investment memos.

 

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Investments Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of NEOM’s Investment strategy.
  • Support and contribute to commercial and technical due diligence workstreams of identified opportunities and produce qualitative and quantitative analysis. 
  • Manage relationships with external advisors including, but not limited to, financial and technical.
  • Assist partnerships to deliver results and build strong long-term partner relationships.
  • Develop a deal wise dashboard highlighting key aspects of deal by leveraging qualitative and feasibility aspects of the transactions.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in investment banking, private equity and/or investing. 
  • Strong experience in financial advisory and deal structuring
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical experience coupled with knowledge of operating principles.
  • Experience in working in matrix organizations and understanding in leading or being part of functional projects across a global cross-functional team. Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Business Administration, Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Industry certifications in BCI, PMI, ITIL, or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong analytical experience and presentation skills with unique attention to details. 
  • Skilled communicator who can operate as a team player and influence change.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while coordinating multiple tasks / priorities.
  • Ability to undertake strategic thinking and adapt to a dynamic environment.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or equivalent knowledge/ experience.
  • preferable CFA Charter holder/candidate.
