ROLE OVERVIEW

The International Investments & Manufacturing Lead will be part of the Investor Attraction team, reporting to the Head of Investor Attraction. The Lead will be given responsibility to support deals from identification/qualification through to signing of legally binding documents with a focus on OXAGON’s 7 manufacturing clusters.

Furthermore, the Lead will be given the task of leading specific initiatives aimed at building the OXAGON manufacturing ecosystem and implementing and improving our internal processes.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The International Investments & Manufacturing Lead’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Functional Strategy & Leadership

  • Project Management of specific tasks aiming at developing and implementing processes and tools supporting investor attraction
  • Stakeholder and account management support
  • Support the development of the Investor Attraction function’s strategy, annual plans, and estimated budget in alignment with OXAGON’s overall strategy, business- and development plan for the manufacturing clusters
  • Support in preparing regular reports, Ppts. of the function’s activities, achievements, and suggestions for performance development.

Core Mandate

  • Support the establishment and development of the Manufacturing Investor Attraction program across the 7-manufacturing cluster:
  • Establishing the Manufacturing Investor Attraction program
  • Developing/implementing key enablers to succeed with the establishment of the clusters
  • Managing reactive / walk-in’s attraction
  • Proactive development of focus clusters
  • Identify target tenants and develop customized value propositions and conduct pitches
  • Conduct deep dive on the specifics of the industry to understand industry dynamics, drivers of localization, market opportunities in NEOM and GCC
  • Support the running of the Investor Attraction as a Continual Process
  • Ensure complete partner focus and quality of interactions, representing NEOM in the best way
  • Support initial discussions through to the next step of structured negotiations
  • Continuously improve the value proposition and pitch abilities to align with the needs of investors and NEOM
  • Structured Negotiations and Legally Binding Agreements
  • Map out the business opportunities and competitive advantage for investors.
  • Support in negotiations, as necessary, with a view to anchoring LoI’s, MoU’s or draft contractual agreements
  • Support the development of full business proposals facilitating the process for both parties
  • Support investors in the development of both legal and non-legal details
  • Ensure the transition of MoU’s / LoI’s to legally binding agreements and contracts
  • Handover to Investor Services
  • In the final stages of the partner attraction process, ensure a good handover to the Investor Services team

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience in business development and sales management.
  • Passionate about either renewable energy, autonomous and sustainable mobility or tech and digital industry, with a solid understanding of the associated value chains and industry players
  • Strong negotiation capabilities and experience from managing external relationships and complex deals/projects
  • Strong team player
  • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience from Industry to enable engagement with Senior Executives with a view to developing business opportunities through to MoU’s and legally binding agreements in conjunction with the executive management
  • Good business acumen, financial & economic analysis/development, abstract problem solving and logical reasoning. Preferred experience from strategic or business consulting
  • Strong presentation skills, presentation preparation and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business or Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
  • Master’s in Business Administration is an added advantage
