Our Advisory practice helps organisations anticipate and respond to complex business challenges by combining strong technical capabilities with deep industry insight. Within Deals, we support clients across the transaction lifecycle, from strategy and due diligence to execution and value realisation.
The Forensics business unit supports public and private sector clients in managing fraud, financial crime, integrity, and compliance risks. Our teams deliver investigations, fraud risk management, anti‑bribery and corruption programmes, anti‑money laundering and counter‑terrorist financing support, and regulatory advisory services across the Middle East.
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the execution of forensic investigations, fraud risk assessments, and integrity and compliance engagements
- Conducting detailed data analysis, document reviews, and fact‑finding procedures to support investigations and regulatory reviews
- Assisting in the design and implementation of fraud risk management and compliance frameworks
- Preparing high‑quality working papers, analyses, and client deliverables in line with PwC methodologies and quality standards
- Collaborating with managers and senior team members to manage day‑to‑day engagement activities and timelines
- Applying professional judgment to identify issues, risks, and emerging themes during engagements
- Building effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through clear and professional communication
- Providing guidance and on‑the‑job support to junior team members as required
- Staying informed on relevant regulatory developments, financial crime trends, and forensic tools
- Typically 3–5 years of experience in forensic services, investigations, audit, compliance, or financial crime roles within professional services or a regulated environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or a related discipline
- Progress toward or interest in professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, or local equivalent qualifications
- Working knowledge of investigative techniques, fraud risk management, and financial crime compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic considered an advantage
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A collaborative mindset, professional curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning
- Your flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
