Our Deals practice helps organisations navigate complex transactions, from mergers and acquisitions to restructuring and strategic investments. We deliver insights and solutions that enable clients to create, protect, and realise value throughout the deal lifecycle.  

Business Unit Overview_x000D_

Deals Risk & Quality (R&Q) acts as a trusted advisor to the Deals business, enabling teams to manage legal, regulatory, and reputational risks effectively. We partner with engagement teams throughout the lifecycle—from bidding and contracting to delivery—ensuring compliance with PwC standards and safeguarding our brand. 

How You’ll Contribute_x000D_

As a Senior Associate in Deals Risk & Quality, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Support senior leadership in assessing risks associated with client engagements, including reputational, contractual, and legal risks 
  • Review engagement panels and identify potential exposures PwC could face 
  • Provide input on contract clauses, evaluating liability caps, profitability calculations, and risk mitigation measures 
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure risk is managed throughout the delivery process 
  • Monitor and manage risks in Deals, including reputational and service permissibility risks, under the guidance of senior risk managers 
  • Prepare reports and analysis to support risk assessments and decision-making by leadership 
  • Contribute to training initiatives to build risk awareness across Deals teams 
  • Stay informed about emerging risks and technologies impacting engagements 
What You’ll Bring_x000D_
  • Arabic language skills are mandatory for this position 
  • 3+ years of experience in risk management or client advisory roles, preferably within a Big 4 or professional services environment 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, or related field; professional certifications in risk or legal advisory are an advantage 
  • Strong understanding of contract management, liability, and profitability considerations 
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and ability to identify and mitigate risks across engagements 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise insights to senior stakeholders 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment 
  • Your flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required. Where possible, we will take your preferences into account and strike a balance between meeting your career development/personal needs and those of the business and our clients
