PwC is a global professional services firm that provides a range of Finance & Accounting consulting services to clients in various industries. Some of the F&A consulting services that PwC offers include Accounting Advisory, Finance Transformation, Economics & Sustainability, Asset Lifecycle Management and Valuation (ALMV), Government Reporting, and Shift SAP. The services that PwC provides are designed to help clients improve their financial performance, manage risk, and meet regulatory requirements.
OU Description
Within our ALMV practice, we focus on asset-intensive organizations, improvement of asset performance and cost reduction are critical challenges we address. We help our clients improve the management of their assets covering management, financial, and technical elements through different stages of the asset lifecycle, which include the end-to-end processes of planning, designing, procuring, constructing / implementing, commissioning, operating and maintenance and asset disposal, decommissioning or repurposing.
You will be primarily based in our Riyadh office, serving our local clients in KSA, but also working with colleagues in all Saudi Arabia as well as within other countries in the Middle East region. As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC professional skills and responsibilities for this level include but are not limited to:
- Support and oversee asset lifecycle management initiatives, focusing on integrating financial considerations with operational strategies to maximize assets’ performance and value.
- Work on establishing comprehensive asset management frameworks and documented management systems including different elements, such as the asset management policy, strategy, objectives and KPIs, asset management plans, policies & procedures, and other asset management system elements based on the client’s needs and requirements.
- Actively support on managing asset lifecycle management transformation projects, and help clients enhance their maturity levels in asset management.
- Advise on the optimization and lifecycle decisions of assets, leveraging technical knowledge and consulting expertise to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Asset performance analysis including data collection, data interrogations and reporting.
- Asset investment planning (Capex and Opex) , Totex optimisation. Whole of life cycle rationalization.
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) development and implementation monitoring.
- Business process reviews and development including planning, acquisition, operation and maintenance, and disposal.
- Support Technology and systems implementations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their operational challenges and requirements, offering advisory services to enhance asset management practices and drive operational efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing asset management processes and practices, identifying areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
- Provide expertise on asset operations and maintenance, providing strategic advice and actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor junior consultants, fostering their professional development and ensuring alignment with PwC’s goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in asset management consulting, proactively integrating new methodologies and technologies into our service offerings.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, establishing trust and credibility as a trusted advisor in asset management consulting.
- Consulting experience in asset management projects in KSA and the Middle East region, driven by transformation initiatives such as EXPRO AFM manual implementation, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 55001), and Enterprise Asset Management system implementation.
- Performing maturity assessment and benchmarking of asset management following good practices and industry standards.
- Experience in the development of strategies, target operating models, roles and responsibilities, policies, plans and procedure manuals, and other associated frameworks, models and tools for asset management.
- Experience in developing programs for preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial modeling for lifecycle costs.
- Knowledge of criticality assessment, failure modes analysis, root cause analysis etc.
- Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions and driving operational improvements within complex organizations.
- Experience in digital solutions for asset management such as CMMS.
- Arabic speaker, and fluency in English.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and senior leadership.
- Demonstrates the ability to build, maintain, and utilize networks of client relationships while anticipating needs and developing solutions.
- Advanced problem solving and analysis skills.
- Engaging and influencing interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative and ‘can-do’ mindset while managing unstructured situations.
- Ability to develop/coach resources and guide team members.
- Excellent organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload whilst being resilient and being able to cope well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and worldwide where the project dictates.
- Keep up to date with current trends from the region and from across the world.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant subject areas such as Engineering, Asset Management, Science, Business or similar fields.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualifications such as IAM certificate/diploma , ISO 55001, CAMA, SMRP.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in asset management consulting/advisory services.
