Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join Unconventional Resources Project Management & Technical Services Department.
Unconventional Resources Department is responsible for engineering procurement and construction of major Unconventional Gas facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The candidate’s primary role is to oversee the Engineering Design (FEED & Detailed Design) and construction activities of Unconventional Resources projects. This includes reviewing various design packages, coordinating with Aramco’s stakeholders, and providing technical support for construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate will be required to perform the following:
- Support the projects in Jafurah Project.
- Mentor and motivate young Saudi Engineers.
- Ensures adherence to company procedures, specifications and guidelines.
- Review and approval of all vendor documents, drawings.
- Ensure the timely review of all engineering deliverables.
- Close interaction within all discipline Members to resolve any issues during engineering and construction phases.
- Coordinate activities and resolve issues among contractors and other parties to allow construction activities to progress according to plan and final mechanical completion.
Minimum Requirements
- As the successful candidate is you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program/ An advanced degree is preferred along with professional certification.
- Minimum of 10 years as Project Engineer on design projects including Concept, FEED, Detailed Design and Construction.
- Related work Experience and Training, educational background, Technical and soft skills and represents a professional Personality.
- Professional certification by NCEES, PMI, or a professional engineering board is preferred.
- You will have extensive project management knowledge and experience in Oil and Gas field to verify and direct FEED/Detail Design packages.
- You will have demonstrable experience in handling EPC phases (engineering, material procurement, Construction management of hydrocarbon facilities).
