Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Professional in Europe Market to join the Hydrogen Department Team. The Hydrogen Department focus on the development of blue and green hydrogen and ammonia supply opportunities to assist our customers in Kingdom and Out of Kingdom with their decarbonization efforts.
Your primary role will involve the implementation and execution of the strategies put in place for commercialization of Low Carbon Ammonia and Hydrogen. The candidate will help in screening, analyzing, planning and developing new business opportunities while supporting existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
As a successful candidate you will perform the following:
- Support and lead the commercial contracts negotiations including Term Sheets (TS) Heads of Agreements (HOAs) and Supply Purchase Agreements (SPAs) with existing and potential customers on low carbon ammonia offtake.
- Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, EU regulatory landscapes, and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with different internal teams and align business development activities with existing capabilities and targeted objectives.
- Lead, support, and participate in negotiations and develop commercial contracts with potential customers.
- Assist and contribute to the department and the company’s involvement into various market auctions.
- Build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Minimum requirements
As a successful candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics. MBA or a relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- You are expected to have at least 15 years of professional experience in commercial role, with a strong track record of commercial experience in the European energy markets.
- A combination of experience and knowledge of the power market, LNG market, and/or Ammonia market, is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of financial analysis, long term commercial contracts, and various types of commercial transactions.
- Experience in navigating and influencing complex internal stakeholder groups to ensure successful business outcomes.
- You have to be an Expert in international business and cross-cultural professional practices with experience in working with European companies as well as Middle Eastern companies.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multinational team.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
