Are you a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce? Are you looking to expand your retail skillset and shape how the world’s biggest brands grow on Amazon?

As a Brand Specialist within the Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) team, you will manage a portfolio of Tier 1 vendors, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted business advisor. You will work backwards from the customer to identify growth opportunities, facilitate high-level business relationships, and ensure total vendor satisfaction. This role offers 360 exposure to the e-commerce industry, opening a multitude of career paths across Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Advisory & Relationship Management
• End-to-End Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for a significant pool of Tier 1 vendors, building productive, mutually beneficial relationships.
• Executive Consulting: Serve as a brand and category expert, providing strategic advice based on deep financial analysis and market trends.
2. Growth & Performance Optimization
• Selection & Discovery: Drive catalog growth by managing new product launches and optimizing product discoverability.
• Traffic & Conversion: Partner with Media and Merchandising teams to plan and execute best-in-class marketing campaigns and promotional activities to improve the customer journey.
• Operational Excellence: Improve product availability and reduce defects by driving process improvements within the vendor’s supply chain.
3. Data-Driven Insights & Innovation
• Analytics: Utilize analytical tools to turn raw data into actionable conclusions, regularly auditing metrics to ensure the quality of the AVS experience.
• Problem Solving: Identify opportunities to innovate and improve Amazon’s products, services, and internal systems.
• Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reporting to vendors to identify untapped market opportunities and areas for financial optimization.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Internal Partnering: Collaborate with key retail functions including Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Tech to align on priorities and operational goals.
• Scalability: Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the AVS program across the MENA region by developing new tools and standardizing best practices.

Basic Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in business, Science, Engineering fields, or Supply Chain with an excellent academic background
– Between 1 – 4 years of experience in key accounts management, projects management, customer facing roles or commercial roles
– Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills
– Microsoft Office Skills (Excel proficiency is a must)
– Strong English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or digital industries
– Experience in multinational companies
– Brand management of portfolio/regional roles
– Experience in process improvement
– Experience managing large amounts of data
– Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
– Arabic proficiency
