Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Dur Hospitality Company SJSC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue goals.
• Identify and target potential business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
• Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing, promotions, and occupancy rates.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Generate leads and convert them into long-term partnerships to maximize hotel bookings.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Supervise and guide the sales team, ensuring they meet performance targets.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for the sales team.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the department.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
• Conduct site inspections and sales presentations for potential clients.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences through proactive customer service and follow-ups.
Marketing & Networking:
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages.
• Develop digital and direct sales initiatives to increase brand visibility.
Reporting & Administration:
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
• Maintain accurate sales records and client databases.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott’s sales policies and standards.
-Experience: Minimum 6-7 years of experience in hotel’s
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
-Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
-Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hotel operations, market trends, and competitor analysis.
-Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
-Technology: Proficiency in hotel sales systems (such as Opera, Delphi, or similar CRM tools).
