DESCRIPTION
The Key account Management team is responsible for accelerating sales growth, expanding selection on the platform and improving retention among the existing Seller base. This team creates innovative ways to identify new selection, merchandising, and operational improvement opportunities through partnership with internal stakeholders such as Fulfillment by Amazon, Sponsored Products, etc. and improving our overall knowledge of how to succeed as a Seller on Amazon Marketplaces.
We are looking for a Account Manager to help shape the future of the Account Management program. The role is focused on driving success for some of the high performing sellers in the KSA Marketplace and leveraging key learning/feedback to improve the Amazon platform that will benefit all Sellers.
Key job responsibilities
Planning/Analysis:
– Conducting deep dive analysis on issues affecting Seller business performance to highlight opportunities for increasing sales
– Analyzing territory trends, diagnose root cause of performance and create actionable plans for operational improvements.
– Defining the territory, opportunities and goals (Input/Output) within the portfolio of accounts.
– Identifying key business opportunities for the territory and manage toward a growth plan.
– Implementing account management best practices
A day in the life
Day to Day operation include but are not limited to
1. Interacting with Key Sellers
2. Sourcing new selection from sellers with potential to add more selection
3. Staying laser focused on stocks for Key ASINs
4. Sourcing Deals from sellers to delight our customers
5. Maintaining sharp prices on the platform
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related majors
2. 5+ years of account management or sales work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
3. Proven track record of success in a targets-driven sales environment
4. Skilled in business development with strong objection-handling skills
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade, convince and explain complex concepts in a simple manner
6. Fluent in English and Arabic
7. Analytical with the ability to apply intermediate Excel skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with data analytics, either in a professional or academic capacity
2. Experience in Internet, e-commerce and retail companies is preferable
3. 3+ Years in FMCG sector
4. 3+ Years in Beauty sector
