Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Juaymah Natural Gas Liquids Fractionation Department’s (JNGLFD) Maintenance Engineering Unit (MEU).
MEU provides high-quality maintenance support across multiple operating facilities within JNGLFD. We provide spare part equipment management, coordinate with external vendors and suppliers, procurement and administration of maintenance contracts, maintenance project execution, major equipment overhauls as well as materials and master data systems management and maintenance budget tracking.
Your primary role will be to provide maintenance technical support to operating areas within the plant to streamline maintenance activities and processes. You will also lead investigations into equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Create maintenance procedures and scope of work preparation for repairs.
- Develop, review and suggest enhancements for preventive maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and investigate equipment failures.
- Manage and track maintenance budget.
- Organize routine and non-routine maintenance and overhaul activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Regularly update and review maintenance procedures and protocols.
- Lead and assist in planning and executing maintenance projects and upgrades.
- Source and manage external vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Cataloging of equipment spare parts.
Minimum Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the oil & gas industry manufacturing.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
