The Procurement analyst is responsible for the research, provision and analysis of spend, supplier and market data for supporting procurement operations and reporting.
You will be working in the PwC Delivery Centre as part of a PwC team providing procurement services for PwC clients.

Procurement Operations

Assist in the processing of Purchase Orders and/or Invoices

Review and highlight discrepancies in Purchase Orders and/or Invoices

Maintain product/service catalogs in ERP or procurement system

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers
-
Support in managing spot buys, bidding/RFx process
-
Support in analysis of pricing and technical competence of goods and services

Review contracts ensuring compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume commitments and rebates

Support in supplier assessments, scorecards, and other analytics to manage supplier performance

Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards and preferred supplier lists

Support risk management assessment relating to suppliers

Monitor and report all open transactions

Analyze and report goods / services rates’ discrepancy periodically

Perform spend analysis to determine internal trends such as top suppliers, procured categories of good/services, payment compliance, etc.

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities
Reporting

Perform cost analysis and forecasting while reviewing purchase requisitions, contracts, purchase orders

Conduct comprehensive spend analysis on category basis, country basis, BU basis, etc

Track and communicate savings achieved from cost reduction initiatives

Report procurement team’s SLAs and KPIs, monitor compliance
Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management, procurement
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management / Administration or equivalent from an accredited university is a plus
Certifications in relevant fields (e.g. CIPS or equivalent) would be advantageous
Preferred skills

Knowledge of end to end procurement process, including supplier relationship management

Data analysis and data-driven procurement decisions

Knowledge of techniques and processes of strategic sourcing

Experience in working with ERP or procurement systems

Minimum years experience required
3-5 years of experience within procurement organization, ideally having worked with a diverse portfolio of people, process and technology with a leading firm, preferably in the Middle East region
