ROLE OVERVIEW

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will manage the relations and all operations between BE and assigned sectors, write and edit letters, reports, and projects and to provide efficient, flexible, and proactive support to the Executive Director and Managers and to assist and provide cover for other members of the Strategic Partnerships Team. To respond to enquiries to and by the Executive Director and members of the Senior Management Team promptly, among other duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support NEOM sectors in activating their strategies through government and international collaborations.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between government entities and relevant NEOM departments.
  • Lead and manage special projects as assigned by executive management.
  • Analyze government requests and provide strategic recommendations to executive management.
  • Represent NEOM’s interests in national and international forums.
  • Assist in project follow-up, content development, and internal process improvement.

 

The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and experience, along with strong communication and leadership skills to effectively influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups. This role reports to the Director, Government Engagement.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Partnerships and Government Liaison

  • Liaise between government entities and relevant NEOM sectors and departments.
  • Represent NEOM with national and international bodies to advocate for NEOM’s interests.
  • Support NEOM Sectors to activate their strategies with government and international entities.

 

Project Management and Analysis

  • Lead special projects as communicated by the executive management.
  • Analyze requests received from government entities and make recommendations to the executive management.
  • Support on following up on special projects handed in by the Government Engagement Director.
  • Prepare any follow-on action recommendations.
  • Communicate with other NEOM departments.
  • Provide the division manager with regular reports and statistics on the progress of projects and partnerships.

 

Content Development and Operational Support

  • Follow content requirements in terms of style and project specifications.
  • Revise content whenever requests change.
  • Help create a style guide or suggest changes to ensure content is consistent and clear.
  • Prepare presentations for the department’s management.
  • Write and edit letters, reports, and projects in Arabic.
  • Meet the required deadlines.
  • Suggests to the Director improvements in the internal department processes.
  • Participates in projects and initiatives beyond the day-to-day operational tasks and guidelines related to Government Affairs.

 

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Knowledge Skills and Experience

 

  • Minimum of 7 years professional experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in Arabic and English oral and writing.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Government stakeholder management.
  • Knowledgeable of Saudi and Middle East culture and history.
  • High standard of character and conduct.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Responsible, goal oriented and organized.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Pays strong attention to details and able to multitask.
  • Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.
  • High flexibility, commitment, and accessibility.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject
