ROLE OVERVIEW

The Strategy Manager will lead and manage strategy development, planning, and integration activities to ensure alignment with NEOM’s vision and strategic goals. This role involves coordinating across sectors, regions, and subsidiaries to ensure cohesive strategic alignment, identifying synergies, and mitigating risks. Reporting to the Strategy Senior Manager, the Strategy Manager plays a critical role in shaping NEOM’s long-term goals.

REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategy or Management Consulting.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with market research tools and software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Strategy Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Strategy Development, Planning, and Integration

  • Lead and manage strategy development, planning, and integration to ensure the achievement of NEOM’s strategy and division-specific objectives.
  • Continuously integrate and consult strategies of all NEOM entities in alignment with NEOM’s overall vision.
  • Define sector-specific strategic roadmaps, key milestones, and critical paths while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to assess the feasibility of strategies, applying methodologies such as SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces.
  • Facilitate alignment across sectors, regions, and subsidiaries by clustering similar sectors (e.g., Tourism, Sports, Media) for cohesive strategy updates.

Strategic Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare and provide regular assessments and management reports on strategy development and planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems and dashboards to track progress, milestones, and interdependencies across sectors and regions.
  • Share a comprehensive registry of projects and initiatives with concerned teams, such as Strategy Integration and Leadership teams.
  • Provide data-driven insights and up-to-date analyses to support leadership requests.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including all NEOM sectors, regions, subsidiaries, and corporate functions.
  • Collect feedback on challenges and requirements from stakeholders to identify barriers and develop action plans.
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Actively engage with the local market, exploring business opportunities and understanding the regulatory landscape.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead cross-sectoral teams in strategy workshops, consultations, and prioritization exercises to ensure alignment with NEOM’s vision.
  • Act as the focal point for understanding and addressing strategic gaps, synergies, and overlaps across sectors.
  • Liaise with teams to remove barriers to progress, address risks, and ensure interdependencies are communicated effectively.
  • Support the Strategy Office team in their operations by fostering collaboration, innovation, and adherence to NEOM’s values.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategy or Management Consulting
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
  • Familiarity with market research tools and software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good teamwork skills and attitude
  • Good leadership skills

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent is required
  • A Master’s degree in business administration, Strategy or related field is preferrable
