We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Strategy expert to lead engagements that define and deliver impactful artificial intelligence strategies, both at national and enterprise levels. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and generative AI (GenAI), along with a strong grasp of business strategy, data ecosystems, and emerging technology governance.
This role requires an individual who can bridge the gap between strategic ambition and technological execution. The successful candidate will have the ability to:
Formulate national AI visions and strategies, shaping policy, capability building, and innovation ecosystems; and
Design enterprise AI operating models and roadmaps, driving adoption across functions and value chains.
The role involves working closely with senior executives and public sector leaders to translate AI potential into measurable impact, advising on operating models, governance frameworks, talent strategies, and data and technology foundations required to enable AI at scale.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with other team members but externally with a diverse set of stakeholders. Recent experience and understanding of the ME business ecosystem and government initiatives is preferred.
AI Vision and Strategy Development: Lead the design and delivery of AI strategies at national and enterprise levels, defining vision, strategic pillars, enablers, and measurable outcomes aligned with broader transformation goals and wider strategies. National AI Governance and Policy Design: Support governments and regulators in shaping national AI governance frameworks, data-sharing ecosystems, and ethical AI principles that drive innovation, competitiveness, and societal value.
Enterprise AI Adoption: Guide large organizations in embedding AI within business operations, functions, and customer interactions. Identify priority use cases, assess readiness, and design scalable AI transformation journeys.
AI Operating Model Design: Develop end-to-end AI operating models covering governance, organization design, skills development, infrastructure, data and technology, and vendor ecosystems.
Generative AI & Emerging Technologies: Advise clients on the evolving GenAI landscape, including large language models, automation, and advanced analytics. Identify practical, high-impact use cases and evaluate feasibility, governance, and ethical considerations.
AI Roadmap & Transformation Planning: Design structured AI roadmaps that translate vision into action, balancing short-term value creation with long-term capability building and sustainable adoption.
Education & Qualifications
Educational Background: A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines. Graduates in other fields can apply, provided that they have a proven experience in IT / Digital Consulting practice with relevant certifications
Certifications: Certification in AI, ML, GenAI, or Data Science and related fields is highly desirable. Project Management (e.g., PMP), TOGAF, or Responsible AI certifications are an advantage..
Work Experience
The candidate should possess post-qualification relevant work experience of at least 7 years of working in a Consulting firm.
Digital Proven experience in designing AI strategies, AI operating models, and AI transformation roadmaps for government and enterprise clients.
Strong understanding of AI technologies, data ecosystems, and GenAI models, with the ability to assess feasibility and impact.
Demonstrated ability to develop and quantify AI business cases and ROI.
