Key job responsibilities
As the leader of the Saudi Arabia (KSA) Public Sector, this role holds full responsibility for all aspects of the government, education, health and non-profit business and will take the lead to shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS within the Public Sector market segments. This position, being the AWS single threaded leader for Public Sector in the KSA, leads all groups in the region with single point accountability for delivering business outcomes for our customers and the company.
Basic Qualifications
– Experience leading and influencing cross-functional sales teams
– 10+ years of technology sales, or 5+ years of technology sales experience
– Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
– Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
– Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
– · 10+ years of experience relationship building and influencing at the C and minister level
Preferred Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree, or MBA in finance, accounting or related field
– 4+ years of procurement experience
– 3+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
– Experience managing large teams across multiple locations and languages, or experience as an acting operations manager
– Experience attracting, hiring, and developing teams and building a bench for key roles
– Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently
