ROLE OVERVIEW
|
The role of a Sr. Financial Planning Analyst focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance. Key responsibilities include expense reporting, supporting the sector with financial modeling, guiding the annual budget process, and preparing reports to inform strategic decisions.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
- Develop and manage financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze OPEX and CAPEX variances against budgets, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to guide business decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with business units to align financial goals.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
- Assist in streamlining expense reporting processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with department leads to support resource allocation, cost optimization, and decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, leveraging tools and technology.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the calculation, recording, and reporting of accruals.
- Track and report on key performance indicators to assess business performance and identify trends.
- Aggregate financial data from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Highly analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical forecasting.
- Excellent mathematical aptitude.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in both informal and highly official settings.
- Fluent in English and Arabic oral and writing.
- High standard of character and conduct.
- Ability to work under pressure
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
