ROLE PURPOSE

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of NEOM’s border control initiatives. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the integrity and security of NEOM’s borders through the implementation of advanced technologies, intelligence analysis, and crisis response strategies. And to maintain a robust border security measures, ensuring the safe and lawful movement of people and goods, and protecting against any potential threats.

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Monitor clearance of imported shipments.
  • Review shipping documents to ensure compliance with customs requirements.
  • Verify accuracy of customs duty and other applicable charges.
  • Apply for required certification & permits from respective gov. agencies.
  • Arrange visits to shipping lines, airlines, ports & customs to resolve concerns.
  • Update customers with clearance status.
  • Engage in regular communications with customers.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent records.
  • Manage system / portal databases & request effectively.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines, and rules of NEOM and the Kingdom in general.
  • Prepare executive level reporting, presentations, project controls, schedule management.
  • Arrange for meeting & assist services to corporate, executives & delegates.
  • Provide logistical services for management during events.
  • Arrange delivery of company sensitive mail.
  • Any related required tasks requested by logistics management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in relevant field
