ROLE OVERVIEW

The purpose of this role is to support the NEOM Tourism Operations Management in the development and delivery of tourism experiences across NEOM.  The role will support the implementation and monitoring of the Safety Management System, training programs and contract management and procurement requirements for the Operations Division of the Destination Development team.

 

ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES

The Vertical Transportation Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Management

  • Day-to-day management of requirements for NEOM Tourism’s Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Manage the NEOM Tourism DMC framework agreement
  • Manage the delivery of the NEOM Tourism Safety Training framework contract.
  • Manage the delivery of NEOM Tourism Health and Safety framework contract.
  • Manage NEOM Tourism Operations procurement requirements
  • Manage the Risk management process for NEOM trails project
  • Manage NEOM Tourism hiking trails activations.

Training & Development

  • Training Manager for NEOM Tourism Departments’ organic training needs
  • Development and implementation of NEOM Tourism risk management documentation
  • Implementation of Dynamic Quality Management System (DQMS)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ relevant professional experience
  • ISO certification/ accreditation experience
  • Training management experience
  • Logistics management experience
  • Ultra luxury/VIP customer experience
  • Experience in Tourism DMC operations or VIP escort services (preferable)
  • Knowledge of SAP/Ariba (preferable)
  • Member of international recognized institution for health and safety (preferable)
  • Experience of working in remote areas (preferable)
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced high-risk industry (preferable)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Management level, internationally recognized Health & Safety qualification
  • Training instructor or train the trainer qualification.
  • First Aid at Work qualification (preferable)
  • Operations Management qualification (preferable)
  • Management qualification (preferable)
  • Logistics Management qualification (preferable)
  • Health and safety and risk management experience
